El Sauce, Nicaragua Local Leadership Committee
The 4 Walls Project prioritizes opportunities for the people of El Sauce to make decisions and guide solutions from beginning to end for each house.
The El Sauce committee is a 7-person body including the Project Manager and 6 other members, made up of mostly past 4 Walls recipients. The committee chooses the families who will receive a 4 Walls house after reviewing applications, and interviewing and visiting each family. On average, there are more than 20 families on the waiting list for a 4 Walls house already approved by the committee.
